If you disagree with someone on the internet, immediately call them out as a troll. If they are a troll, this defeats them like their version of "Swiper no swiping". If they aren't a troll, they'll be so infuriated you called them one they'll probably go Godwin on you and you win.
Hurm. Come to think of it, maybe there should be a "Troll, no trolling!" sort of chant out there.

Getting all political.
I really don't like political naming, it's a way to differentiate "us" and "them" and it always ends up with broad, sweeping generalizations, usually of people you know and like.
But I think I've gotta stand up and state my beliefs because I'm disheartened to be called terms meant as derogatory simply because I hold values that are in opposition to some another person may hold. I will go over some of my reasoning for the stance I hold here.
I'm against the idea that any two people can be paid a different wage based on their ethnicity, the color of their skin, or the reproductive organs they were handed in life.
I'm for the conservation of our natural resources, but not to the degree I don't believe in progress or kneecapping technological and scientific growth, so long as there are places of nature left untouched to be enjoyed.
I believe in a hard day's work, and earning your own keep, but I understand some people have more to juggle and require a helping hand to keep themselves moving forward. I understand taxes need to be paid to keep the schools, hospitals, fire fighters, police officers, and other services running and well staffed and equipped.
I believe in a person's right to feel safe and have a safe place they can call home. If someone feels they need a firearm to feel safe, i believe as long as they act in a reasonable and safe manner, there's nothing wrong with that.
I believe that those who make significantly more money, should have to pay a flat percent of that in taxes. Having opportunity doesn't give one the right to effect change on the system to make sure you continue to have such opportunity.
I believe in science, in the course of our events, we either approach things in an empirical manner when we can, and have faith when we cannot, or we do not make progress.
I believe in the right of any individual to act in a manner of their choosing so long as it does not infringe upon the right of any other person to feel safe, grow and prosper, or keep their own freedoms.'
I believe those who wear a badge, a patch, or a uniform and choose to carry a gun or a firehose, or a broom for the good of themselves and their fellow citizens deserve as much respect as we can give them. Hard work built this country, and lives paid for the chance.
I believe i've made my point. Some will label parts of this as leftist, or rightist, or something based on what they agreed with and what they didn't. I'm just a human being. What i believe in is where i've been and what i've seen forming me. And the only label I will identify myself with is "Human".

I wonder if this is more Sheldon or Mordin Solus...
I was thinking about when we helped Cooper move.
Ben and Bubba were talking about Bubba's sister moving someplace and i was sitting, facing away from them playing a game, and inquired where she was moving, they then proceeded to kid with me she was moving to alaska, and because i wasn't looking at them for facial cues or paying close enough attention (i was gaming) i believed them implicitly until they started laughing.
Thinking back I guess that must be what it's like to live with a form of Aspergers and i was incredibly frustrated with being unable to discern intent at the time.
Very interesting. I wonder if they've done experiments about non-aspergers sufferers given tasks to complete that take up the active thought processes that normally would be dedicated to interpersonal discourse and then forced them to try and discern truth from falsehood. I would love to proctor such a series of tests.

Annexation
This Blog is officially annexed by the Supreme Highlord, Gilder.
I'm going to use it to post interesting videos or articles so I've an appropriate venue to link to people and they don't have to join sites with dubious privacy practices or unnecessary memberships.
Seems like a good idea, don't you think?
